Raden, originally a Daeva who defected from the Daevas and aided Tiamat in kidnapping his comrades, played a crucial role in creating the Executor, a subordinate of the Balaur.
After the incident in which the Executor and the Daeva test subjects escaped, Raden infiltrated Beluslan, where he operated as a Daeva under the command of Tiamat, who was gathering Siel’s Power from all areas of Atreia.
Hidden in Beluslan, Raden continued his research on a golden substance at the ruins where ancient weapons lay dormant. The golden substance extracted by Tiamat's Legion was evidently a mighty force, but it was originally created by Siel’s Power and proved difficult to control.
